Syrian Refugee Crisis

Europe Refugee Crisis
Our Project is a propaganda poster for the Syrian refugee crisis going on in Europe. The refugees, who are journeying to Europe for a better life, are not allowed into European countries because of incorrect assumptions made about them. Our poster was made to raise awareness for the refugees who need help. Our poster represents the awful places that they are trying to escape from.

Final Design Explanation:
We chose this design because we wanted to communicate the total destruction caused by the violence in the Middle East and the desperation many people feel to escape the violence. Many of these people are forced into neighboring countries in Europe, many of which have turned them away. To stress the need to give these refugees a place to stay, we decided to include the phrase, "LET THEM IN." To display the despair many refugees feel about having to leave their homeland, we chose to portray a Muslim woman looking back on a city in ruins as people flee. Ultimately, we wanted to showcase the political and emotional impacts violence in the Middle East has had on people.
